Few days ago I was having conversation with an associate at the health club I just started going to. (Never had time when I was employed.) We began having a conversation about our personal trainers. If you aren't familiar with the term, these are fitness pros who have been trained to form work-out routines based on personal strengths, needs and targets.

Anyway, Rick said something that bulls-eyed me right between the eyes. "I got so overwhelmed reading all the books and fitness periodicals. Each of us has their own idea of what rewards the best. I after a long time figured if I was going to work out, I could as well pick one professional, be attentive to them and follow their routine."

afterwards, as I was driving my pained body home, I was thinking about how adequate Rick's comment was to internet marketing. Everyone's a pro. (although people who were unable to sell their first eBook.) And there are million programs, books, secrets, techniques and systems that will do the job for you.

The only thing is, you can very easily fall into what my favorite business school professor nicknamed, "Analysis Paralysis". That's where a lot of people are trapped. They continue reading, and it interfere in the way of really doing something.

I was guilty of this, too. I must have paid for several hundred dollars worth of books and courses until I found what was working for me, with my very own internet business.

Luckily, the professional I decided to work in his methods was, in hindsight, an outstanding choice. And by following his advice and following his ideas, I have created a number of thriving earnings streams.

My point isn't that my "guru" is the right choice for everyone. What I'm saying is to select one or maybe a couple of people you really appreciate, and model them. Certainly, check out if they are truly successful in their own businesses first. But when you encounter with someone you respect and who have got the style you like, follow their tips and follow what they propose in their writings.
